Cremant de Gamay – “sparkling of Gamay” – an Australian first! Traditional method the only way to get the fine flavours. Gamay is made in the older traditional Beaujolais style ”Carbonic fermentation” gives a fragrant lifted nose that has seen short wood maturation ( helps soften the wine) When sparkling reds are made the bubbles accentuate any tannins so low tannin wines will look larger. Eighteen months on lees has allowed the wine to develop and smooth out before being disgorged and crown capped. A softer lighter style of sparkling red. With fine flavours of fresh raspberry fruit characters. Made from 100% Gamay. Enjoy during the warm climate seasons that our country has! Serve chilled with pasta salads, light meats or antipasto.
