A vineyard blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Merlot & Petit Verdot grapes makes a rich succulent style of wine, ripe fruits, firm tannins and good aging potential.This wine is rich and full bodied just like a Bordeaux region in France. Our own Elizabeth ( dec.2011) has the credit here : her dealings with grape pickers and pruning this multi varietal block have been understated pickers were constantly asking cant we pick all these grapes together? There all red aren’t they? One word Liz? Patience….Winemaking can only do so much. Enjoy with a full flavoured cheese, gamey meats and the odd gourmet pie! Gooramadda is a premium vineyard site producing deeply purple coloured, full flavoured style of shiraz. Think rich red berries, fruit ripe palate of black cherries, licorice, spices and dark chocolate. Ideally suited with flavoursome steak dishes and talkative friends. -
Cellar cats are mischievous ones, always in & out of trouble and observing the goings on in the cellar. They must wonder why we spend time tending this luscious nectar, but with multiple vintages blended into this muscat, one can see why all the effort.
