King Valley - Riverside Romance

Set on the banks of the King River in Oxley, at the gateway to the Milawa Gourmet Region, our King Valley venue offers a relaxed, nature-filled setting with river views, open lawns and vineyard surrounds.

Perfect for couples chasing:

Our Rutherglen venue is all about character and charm.

A historic shed transformed into a cellar door sets the scene, with options for:

Once your wedding is booked, we’ll also gift you a 6-pack of our wines to enjoy during planning - a relaxed way to choose what you’d love to pour on the day.

FAQs

There’s no strict limit for ceremonies at either location.

For receptions:

King Valley suits cocktail-style events of any size, with seated options for smaller groups (around 50 on the deck)
Rutherglen can seat up to 120 guests inside the cellar door (we recommend around 100 for comfort and dancing space)

Yes, absolutely.

Both King Valley and Rutherglen offer ceremony + reception packages, making it easy to keep everything in one place and enjoy a seamless day.

We don’t have an on-site restaurant, which gives you flexibility.

You’re free to choose your own caterer, allowing you to design a menu that suits your style, guests and budget.

We provide a fully serviced bar featuring John Gehrig Wines, along with your choice of beers and non-alcoholic options.

There is a minimum spend on beverages, and anything not used can be taken home as wine.

Please note: we are a no BYO venue.

Yes - and that’s part of the appeal.

Both venues are offered as a blank canvas, so you can style your wedding your way. You’re welcome to bring in your own suppliers or hire additional styling items.

Venue hire includes:

Exclusive use of the space for your event
Set up and pack down support
Bar service
Basic furniture (chairs, tables, glassware)
Access to the property for photos

Additional styling items and upgrades are available if you want to elevate the look and feel.
